Banana Bread from the backyard

To make banana bread I harvested a pile of bananas from my backyard trees and had to do something with them before they spoiled. So banana breads fill the kitchen with their fragrance. My trees are the Orinoco variety. Orinoco is the most common banana grown all along the Gulf Coast. Orinocos reliably produces medium-sized fruits. (4-6″) Bananas can either be cooked when green or allowed to fully ripen, eaten out of hand or made into banana bread. They can also be frozen to be used at a later date. You can freeze baked goods for a later date too. I usually make as many breads as possible. After I freeze and unused bananas. I will bake again at a later date.
