Bruschetta recipe and more…. I tried to come up with a decent meal to take me to the end of 2012 and the inspiration was lacking and this is the best I could come up with.
- Bruchetta – tomato, roasted garlic, fresh basil, Italian flat leaf parsley, a little onion, olive oil, salt, pepper and pamesan on grilled crusty bread.
- Couscous cooked in stock with roasted garlic and roasted vegetables, toasted pine nuts, and preserved lemon. Fresh parsley and a little olive oil tossed through at the end
- Thick 10 oz. Filet steaks from a good local butcher
- Lots of sauteed mushrooms
- A simple salad
- Probably a glass of Cabernet
