Mango Homemade Soap was a special request and I made a small batch for a friend. This fine quality burgundy and orange soap with a mango scent and a very complex recipe made with DWCP. Sitting next to it is a yellow and blue bar – unscented, that I had previously made. Both are in the curing and drying phase. Although Mango Soap is made with an complex recipe including Jojoba, it does not contain any mango butter. Mango Butter is the oil extracted from the seed kernels of the mango tree and is similar to the color and texture of cocoa butter. It is an exotic choice for soap and toiletries, but very costly. I will try to get some soon and I’ll put together another Mango Homemade Soap using a high percentage of Mango Butter.
