Snow in the Big Bend Country?

Will there be Snow in the Big Bend Country? The view from the Panther Junction webcam looks ominous and the forecast talks of possible snow.  Although not common, the Chisos see snow almost every winter. The accumulation is usually minimal and it quickly melts. Any precip this year is a welcome sight, the drought still continues.

UPDATE: In 2013, a heavy snow blanketed the Chisos Mountains. I was fortunate enough to be there during this uncommon event. Although it was a cold experience, I captured many images that can be viewed in my post from November of 2013 entitled –  Big Bend Chisos Mountain Snow. I was also fortunate enough to have one image from this event on display at the Bullock Museum in Austin, TX. Follow the link above for more information about that event and to see the image.
