Big Bend National Park Webcam Captures

A few captures from the now defunct Big Bend National Park Webcam in the Basin and at Panther Junction. I used to enjoy keeping daily track on the weather from afar. Sometimes the photos even captured some of the wildlife, like the Raven in this shot. Unfortunately, the cams seemed to have fallen victim to funding cuts. One of these days they may start up again, but they are not operated by the NPS. I believe they fall under the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality  The shot of the moon setting over the Window is one of my favorites. It is a variation on the classic Window sunset view that so many visitors wait for.

Unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be any return for the webcams.
