A rainy day kept me inside today and as I wandered about, the “Bone Man” caught my eye. I seized on the opportunity to turn him into a subject and captured the glint in his eye and his subtle smile. I particularly like the bokeh on this shot at 85 mm f1.8

A black and white conversion taken of the orchestra pit. The musical score was of the Musical “Bye, bye Birdie”. The low light and lack of color made this a perfect candidate for a black and white conversion. The theater group did an excellent job and the show was enjoyed by all.
Spring renewal. My Meyer lemon tree is a snowstorm of blossoms this time of year. The rich aroma of the flowers engulfs my entire backyard and portends a full crop of juicy Meyers in the fall. I will struggle to utilize all of this bounty, by I’ll try my best.

I had a request today for some tasty cookies. Rising to the occasion, a batch of chewy oatmeal raisin cookies appeared after a brief journey from the mixer to the oven. Everyone was pleased and I had Cabernet instead!
