To make banana bread I harvested a pile of bananas from my backyard trees and had to do something with them before they spoiled. So banana breads fill the kitchen with their fragrance. My trees are the Orinoco variety. Orinoco is the most common banana grown all along the Gulf Coast. Orinocos reliably produces medium-sized fruits.

Texas law allows people to carry a handgun if they have a permit and as long as the gun is concealed. A separate lane for license-holders had to be created so gun-toters could enter without having to pull out their weapons or unconceal them along with their wallets and keys.
